I-Cord nearly felted Sock/slippers

These short sock are knitted on 2.5 mm needles with dk yarn making them feel like felt.
They could be used as short sock, over socks or slippers

Materials
1 100g ball dk yarn
contrasting yarn 50cm
crochet hook 3mm or bigger
2 5mm dpns
set of 5 2.5 mm dpns

ICord
6 chain with contrasting yarn DO NOT  finish off
pick up 4 stitches with 3mm dpns
knit 1 row
slip stitches to end
knit
repeat until 66 rows
pass thread through last stitches

     There are other ways to add an i-cord edging once the edge is in place either by picking up all the stitches and taking off one at a time or picking a stitch up on the return row

Heel Flap
Pick up 1 stitch per row starting from 2nd row 32 stitches

Knit
stst until 30 rows have been completed

Turn
k22 turn
p12 turn
sl 1 k10 k2tog k1
sl 1 p11 p2tog p1
sl 1 k12 k2tog k1
sl 1 p13 p2tog p1
sl 1 k14 k2tog k1
sl 1 p15 p2tog p1
sl 1 k16 k2tog k1
sl 1 p17 p2tog p1
sl 1 k18k2tog k1
sl 1 p19 p2tog p1

k20 up side of heel flap
pick up 32 stitches from icord
k20 down heel flap

Sock
k1 round
from centre of heel
k28 k2 tog k1
k32 from top
k1 k2 tog k 28
k1 round
repeat dec 1 stitch at side of heel every other row until 16 stitches on all 4 needles
continue until work measures 16cm (UK size 6 to 7) from where stitches where picked up

Toe
from right top of sock
dec each end of top and sole of sock until 32 stitches remain every alt row
put stitches on 2 needles (3 needle bind off)
either turn inside out and cast off taking 1 stitch from each needle
or use Kitchner stitch

Top
unpick crochet join ends of icord
sew in ends cut off

Ideas
thread cord or elastic through icord edging

Knitted Boy Friend 1

Boy Friend 0

Based on the picture above Knitted boyfriend 0
Knitted on 4 double pointed needles
dk 3mm dpns, 4ply for jumper
height less that 30cm

Cast on 3 move stitches to end of needle start at end
knit 2 stitches in each stitch divide on to 3 needles 
Knit 2 stitches in each stitch until there are 24 stitches
knit 16 rows

Neck
k2tog 12 times
Knit 2 rows
k2 in each stitch (24 stitches)

Shoulder
(divide into 4 set of 6 stitches)

1st 6 stitches 
stst 8 rows dec 1 st last row put stitches on holder safety pin or thread
3rd 6 stitches repeat


Body
Pick up 6 stitches along edge of shoulder knit 6 stitches from neck 6 stitches from shoulder (18 stitches)
Knit 8 rows

repeat of other side
Join two set together 
StSt 14 rows
Change color for shorts
Knit 10 rows


Leg
working on left leg
on 15 stitches in the round 
knit 2 rows change colour
knit 6 rows dec 1 stitch (14 stitches)
knit 8 rows dec 1 stitch (13 stitches)
Change colour for socks
knit 8 rows dec 1 stitch (12 stitches)

Change colour 
knit 2 cast on 6 stitches continue in round (18 stitches)
Knit 4 rows cast off
join top of feet

join tube 3 stitches from front and back
repeat for 15 stitches on other side of leg  

Arms
using 5 stitches from shoulder pick up 4 stitches each side of body 
Knit 10 rows dec (12 Stitches)
Knit 10 rows dec (11 stitches)
dec in each stitch
knit one row 
dec in each stitch
tie up
repeat other arm


Jumper
using 4ply 3mm needles cast on 20 Stitches
garter st 4 rows 
Stst 14 rows
cast on 5 st next 2 rows
stst 8 rows 
on first 12 stitches stst 9 rows break thread
Cast of 6 stitches in center for neck
on last 12 stitches stst 9 rows 
knit cast on 6 stitches join from other shoulder
stst 8 rows
cast of 5 stitches each end next two rows
stst 14 rows 
Garter st next 4 rows 
cast off
make up
